PRENATAL CLASS INFORMATION
Prenatal classes are a fun and important way to prepare for the upcoming birth of your baby with a mix of in person (at Durham Midwives) and zoom over a 6 week period. Classes are open to you and your support person (price below includes 2 people) and geared towards Midwifery clients. Click on the class below for more information.
These classes offer information on topics such as: What to expect during the labour, birth, and postpartum period, comfort measures during labour, how the labour partner can provide support, natural pain relief options, what to expect if complications arise, baby care and more!
Classes are offered on Tuesday evenings 7-9pm. Below you'll find information on upcoming classes.

Please note the classes listed below are the ONLY ones offered through Midwifery Services of Durham.
**Disclaimer - classes need a minimum of 4 participants (8 couples) to run a class. Midwifery Services of Durham will give those signed up as much notice as possible should this not be the case and a full refund will be give based on this.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellation up to 30 days prior to the start of class – 50% refundable.

Nicole Daniel is a Registered Nurse with more than 15 years of experience in labour and delivery, prenatal/baby care classes, breastfeeding clinics, and doula work. She is delighted to join with Durham Midwives to offer fun, interactive, and informative childbirth education classes. Her goal is to increase new families' confidence as they journey into parenthood. Nicole is a professor and teaches maternal and infant health to future nurses. She is a mom of a tween and a teen, and enjoys performing in musical theatre productions in her spare time.
